London Town House

Inspired by their years spent working in Japan, our clients wanted something reminiscent of the the elegant screens found within Japanese interiors.

Set at the back of the Georgian property away from the bustle of the London streets. This sophisticated kitchen space is set under a contemporary glass extension providing an abundance of natural light.

This clean and simple linear framework, in a muted black finish provides a striking contrast with the white Quartz worktops and Ash carcasses. Dressed with period British ironmongery which completes this Timeless kitchen

Sukiya-Zukuri- Suki means refined, well cultivated taste and delight in elegant pursuits and refers to enjoyment of the exquisitely performed tea ceremony. The beauty of sukiya-zukuri comes from the delicate sensibility of the slender wood elements and other natural materials used, and the simplicity of ornamentation, if any.
